Drinks
Shochu is not only the drink of choice among drunken Japanese businessmen, but a versatile spirit that balances well with traditional Japanese cuisine. A distilled liquor with a long and distinguished history, it is made from a variety of ingredients with a taste similar to vodka. Our chef swears that it doesn’t give you a hangover, but he was drunk when he “proclaimed” that. Shochu is typically served on the rocks, diluted with hot or cold water
- Mugi Soju – Barley Shochu. Enjoy its subtle fragrance and clean taste.
- Imo Shochu – Sweet Potato Shochu. A smooth yet lively flavor with a settled earthiness and gentle roasted nature overall
- Shochu Cocktail (Chuhai) – The House Special. Seltzer water and fresh fruit (Choice of Grapefruit, Orange or Ume Plums)
